Food Passing

More appropriately, one could say there's an eatery passing. Eater LA reports that Xiorama is shutting down, confirming rumors that had been circulating.

Xiomara in Old Town is in escrow, and come April 15 the only place to get those hand-shaken, fresh sugar cane mojitos will be at chef/owner Xiomara Ardolina's second location, Xiomara on Melrose.
Of course, Eater LA has been all over this. Hell, they put a whole Pasadena neighborhood on Deathwatch.

I never thought Xiorama was the bee's knees, but I'm sorry to see it go. The restaurant's departure, though, isn't abnormal for the area. While developers have flourished, the restaurant business has remained cutthroat. Check out Eater LA for the whole story.
