Claremont: Ellen and Pedroza Eat Pot Cookies! UPDATED

Would you take a cookie from this man? Ellen Taylor and Sam Pedroza took some from his supporters.

[Updated: As our surly commentator notes below, we put this up too fast: The picture above is of Mr. Kruse, formerly the operator of the Claremont-based pot-medicine shop. Dave and Darleen Madison gave out the cookies at the Council meeting, as Will Bigham's article states. Sorry for the mix-up, the post has been updated accordingly. We now return to printing all of our none-to-bright "lies."]

If you read the story, Dave and Darleen Madison brought the cookies. That's Darrel Krause. He wasn't even there.

Whew, you aren't too bright, are you?

Post is updated, thanks for the correction. We made a mistake. In another comment you speak of our "lies." Could you kindly give our readers an example of us lying in any of our posts?

Well, there are mistakes, and there are inaccuracies.
1. No where is Darrel Krause's name mentioned in the article. But you put his picture right on top. Why?
2. The couple are labeled "a medical marijuana patient and his wife. No where does it say they are supporters of Mr. Krause.
3. The article clearly says they were pot "shaped" cookies. Not pot cookies.

It is not a very long article. But you, in an attempt to drum up some interest in your blog (and you must admit there are very few replies to many, if any of your "reports") you create a "headline" that is clearly slanted and inaccurate.

I seriously doubt that anything else that has been posted here has even the slightest shred of intelligence or accuracy,

hence, you are either a liar or one hell of a crappy writer/reporter. I'll leave it to your conscious or your readers. If there are actually any.

And I of course resent the label "surly". I would request from now on, I be referred to as accurate. Something you seem to know little or nothing about.

3) The headline is what one might call a "joke," and yes, it gets one's attention. Our readers aren't stupid enough to think that City Council members are actually eating pot-laced cookies. (Will Bigham might write a longer article about that.)

1) and 2) Kruse is the one who set the ball rolling in this debate, and, at least indirectly, the reason the couple was there--they want Claremont to allow a medical marijuana center. The whole Claremont medical marijuana debate arose because Kruse set up shop there.

We haven't had comments but for two whole days. And if you think our traffic #s are low, you should realize that even the #'s out for official foothill city websites are pretty low. But then, we can tell from our stats that a lot of people who work at such cities read us. And it grow daily. Now, on to more spreading of lies and crappy writing and reporting...

The fact remains that your "report" on a story that is basically not more than a filler is filled with inaccuracies and assumptions. There is no excuse for this, and in no way should anyone trust anything you write.
Even for the internet you are pretty weak. I guess retirement is getting a little boring?

Bwahhahahah...you are a touchy one, aren't you? Our humorous post above is merely based on a report in the paper that Will Bigham and his bosses must have also found amusing. We put it up here because our readers are interested. Again, we put this up fast and got it wrong the first time around, I apologized and quickly changed the post. The only people we are really taking a jibe at here are the city council members, in a good natured sort of way. The real question is why this bothers you so much?

This Tuesday, the Claremont City Council plans on making a wacky kind of move. They will not be making any ruling on Medical Marijuana. Instead, they will be introducing an ordinance regarding the prohibition of businesses that contravene state and/or federal law. Way to go Mayor Yao!
