Arcadia Twofer

Mayor Chandler will be reporting on what condition Arcadia is in this coming Tuesday, according to the Arcadia Weekly.

Arcadia Mayor Roger Chandler will present a State of the City Address on Tuesday, March 20 during the regularly scheduled city council meeting. The city council meeting begins at 7 p.m. and is held in the council chambers at 240 W. Huntington Drive.
If you care to comment on the speech, you are invited to contact the Mayor's office or drop us a line: foothillcities at gmail dot com.

And in a spectacular bit of planning, Tuesday night is also when the Caruso Project at Santa Anita racetrack will be up for discussion. The specific topic will be the new Federal Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), which was released on Feb. 27. For those unfamiliar with Caruso, one of his signature developments was The Grove (don't judge the place on the basis of that model), so expect upscale tenants and a very unified design. The hearing will take place at the Arcadia Masonic Center, 50 W. Duarte Road. If you want to get up to date on the mosquito-eating fish that will populate the development's fountains, check out the Arcadia Weekly.
