Mosca Works With SGVCOG, SCAG, CEHD

From the Pasadena Independent:
In an election held Jan.18 at the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) Governing Board meeting Joe Mosca, council member for Sierra Madre, was elected to serve as one of SGVCOG’s two representatives on the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Community, Economic and Human Development (CEHD) Committee.
...
Mosca was elected to the Sierra Madre City Council in April 2006. Since then, he has served as Sierra Madre’s alternate on the SGVCOG board. Mosca is a practicing attorney with the law offices of Borowitz, Lozana and Clark, LLP in West Covina.

If you don't know anything about these organizations or that committee, don't worry. Most people don't. In fact, the committee has problems getting its own regional members to show up. I have provided links, however, so that you can take a look-see at what the regional bureaucracy is all about.

And, by the way, Erica Blodgett of the Arcadia Weekly reports that Sierra Madre is celebrating its 100 year old birthday this year. A partial list of events is here.
