New County Budget Goodies

The new county budget includes "$5.4 million for Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, for a new boat launch facility, replacement floating docks and energy-efficient lighting." (Troy Anderson and Alison Hewitt, SGVT)

Also, "early estimates put the county's retiree health care deficit as high as $14 billion, $5 billion more than previous estimates." Heh. Thats only going to get worse, folks. And don't think thats just a county problem, either—this is a problem likely coming soon to a foothill city near you.
