Claremont Candidate Keenan
Mike Keenan has got himself a snazzy website replete with blog and his own campaign video interview/ad.
There is no better introduction to Keenan (besides his own words) than columnist David Allen's [thankfully cached] article.
Although Foothill Cities covers many other cities, Claremont coverage has recently garnered a lot of interest, (and from the looks of things is a big part of the growing traffic to this blog), so in the limited time I have I've decided to send Mike and all the other candidates a few questions in the attempt to spur some informal, online interviews. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, the Claremont Courier is finally back online to let you know:
Sunday, March 4 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.—Candidate’s Forum hosted by Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 435 Berkeley Ave.
Tuesday, March 6 from 8 to 11 p.m.—Join Michael Maglio for an election night celebration at Round Table Pizza, south Claremont on Auto Center Drive in the old Albertsons Plaza.

This Tuesday, the Claremont City Council plans on making a wacky kind of move. They will not be making any ruling on Medical Marijuana. Instead, they will be introducing an ordinance regarding the prohibition of businesses that contravene state and/or federal law. Way to go Mayor Yao!
