Setting the Glendor-a-ma Mood

Glendora City Manager Eric Ziegler is going to retire, Alison Hewitt's SGV Tribune article announces:

His departure comes at a "crossroads" for the city, some council members noted. The city clerk and public works director retired and two more department heads are retiring this year. Council members praised Ziegler, especially his integrity, describing him as "above politics." They said he helped unite the city after a 2002 recall election, improve the city's streets, guide the city through the contentious Measure A election and will leave the city in healthy financial shape.

Who will take his place? If the past can tell us anything about the future, things could get ugly.
