Pomona/Claremont Schools

...Pomona Unified School District reported only a 6 percent dropout rate in the 2004-05 school year, an increase from 5.1 percent in 2000-01, according to California Department of Education statistics. Claremont Unified School District reported a 1.5 percent dropout rate, up from 0.99 percent in 2000-01.

Not sure where the Sahra Susman Daily Bulletin article got its statistics from, but if you are interested in such things you can poke around here for more info about your school district. Over the last few years lawmakers have begun forcing schools and education officials to post better stats, although this remains an ongoing issue.
