Claremont Loses More Celebrity Power

Man, Claremont can't catch a break.

First, they lose Becks and Posh to Downtown and the Westside. Now, Snoop Dogg, just days after being hauled into a Pasadena court (or, um, coming of his own volition), has put his house up for sale (it's the second listing).

One can only assume that Snoop couldn't handle any more of the reefer madness in this town.

UPDATE: Snoop must have called Publius before he sent me his text message.

This Tuesday, the Claremont City Council plans on making a wacky kind of move. They will not be making any ruling on Medical Marijuana. Instead, they will be introducing an ordinance regarding the prohibition of businesses that contravene state and/or federal law. Way to go Mayor Yao!
